An established residential organisation based in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Domestic Supervisor to join their busy support services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with previous supervisory experience within housekeeping or cleaning services to oversee high standards across accommodation and communal environments. Working within a fast-paced setting, you will be responsible for supervising cleaning staff, monitoring hygiene standards, managing stock and laundry processes, and ensuring all Health & Safety and COSHH procedures are followed.

• Liaising with internal departments regarding maintenance and operational issues

• Completing relevant administration including invoices, checklists and reports

What we are looking for:

• Previous supervisory experience within housekeeping or cleaning services

• Strong understanding of COSHH and Health & Safety procedures

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Good administration and Microsoft Office skills

• Resilient, proactive and highly organised approach to work

• Experience within schools, residential settings, healthcare or hospitality environments would be advantageous

• Monitor machine performance and make offsets or programme edits as required

• Maintain high standards of quality and production efficiency

Skills/Experience Required:

• Proven experience operating CNC machines – Using wood-based materials.

• Physically capable of manual handling duties within a factory environment

• Strong understanding of machining principles.

• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings

• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• A positive approach with good communication and teamwork skills
