Key Responsibilities:

·         Receiving, unloading and checking incoming deliveries.

·         Ensuring goods are stored safely and correctly within thewarehouse.

·         Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.

·         Preparing items for dispatch and ensuring orders meet customerrequirements.

·         Using warehouse equipment including pallet trucks and forklifts(where trained).

·         Carrying out regular stock checks and supporting inventory controlprocesses.

·         Maintaining accurate records and ensuring stock levels are managedeffectively.

·         Working closely with colleagues across the business to ensurecustomer requirements are met on time and to a high standard.

·         Carrying out general warehouse duties and maintaining a clean,safe and organised working environment.

Skills & Experience Required:

·         Previous experience working within a warehouse, logistics orstores environment is desirable.

·         Good attention to detail with the ability to work accurately.

·         Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

·         Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

·         Good communication skills with the ability to build positiveworking relationships.

·         Strong understanding of manual handling procedures and generalhealth & safety awareness.

·         Experience using warehouse systems or stock control processeswould be advantageous.

·         Counterbalance forklift experience and/or licence would bedesirable but is not essential.

·         Qualifications & Experience:

·         Basic numeracy, literacy and IT skills.

·         Previous experience within a warehouse or logistics role.

·         Experience working with stock control and inventory processeswould be beneficial.
