We are currently recruiting for a hands-on Manufacturing Operative to join one of our valued clients based in Ely, Cambridgeshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern manufacturing environment where you'll receive full training on a range machinery along with processes and equipment while producing precision-engineered components to the highest quality standards. Working as part of a supportive production team, you'll play a key role in achieving manufacturing targets while developing your engineering skills within a business that offers genuine long-term career progression.

• Operate a variety of machinery
• Work within an allocated production team to achieve daily and weekly manufacturing targets.
• Process sheet materials in accordance with production schedules.
• Carry out accurate measurements and inspections, maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Record technical measurements and production data using company systems and documentation.
• Communicate production progress and product status accurately with colleagues and Team Leaders.
• Support Team Leaders with continuous improvement initiatives and workplace programmes.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to work confidently within a team.
• A practical, hands-on approach with good mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy.
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
