St. Georges Day is celebrated on 23rd April every year, you would have though it to be a public holiday but unfortunately it isn't. Saint Georges Day, also known as the Feast of Saint George, is the feast day of Saint George and is celebrated by various Christian Churches and by the several nations, kingdoms, countries and cities of which Saint George is the patron saint including England and regions of Portugal and Spain. We celebrate this day in England as it remembers St George as this is the anniversary of his death.

May Day is a public holiday usually celebrated on 1st May. Normally the May bank holiday falls on the first Monday of May but in 2020 it will not be on May 4th. The reason for this is because the government announced the change of the date in June to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day (Victory in Europe Day).

Stress Awareness Month is held every April and has been since 1992. It is a month to increase awareness about both the causes and cures for stress in and outside the workplace. According to the Mental Health Foundation 74% of UK adults have felt stressed at some point and have felt overwhelmed or unable to cope. 

World Autism Awareness Day is an internationally recognised day on 2nd April every year. This day encourages people to raise awareness about people with Autism Spectrum Disorder throughout the world. This day aims to put the spotlight on the difficulties that people with autism and others living with autism face every day.

National Careers Week (NCW) is a week which is held annually on Monday 2nd March - Friday 6th March! It's a week to promote pupils getting careers and giving them good advice and setting them up for the working world.
