Software Engineers/Developers design, build and test computer programs for business, education and leisure services. Your day to day tasks will include; carrying out tests on equipment before release, creating, writing and amending computer code, taking part in technical and design meetings, after care of new systems and supporting the process, fixing issues and most of all talking through requirements and expectations with clients and the development team.

Average salary is £20,000-£70,000 depending on skills, training, education and experience
