On Saturday, 10th August, Busy Bee Recruitment was proud to host a Family Fun Day at the Royal British Legion in Fordham, all in support of Just George. The event was a true celebration of community spirit, bringing families together for a day filled with fun, laughter, and generosity.
The free-to-attend event was designed to offer something for everyone, from little ones to adults. With the sun shining brightly, families enjoyed an exciting lineup of activities, including:
From the moment the doors opened, the venue buzzed with excitement. It was heartwarming to see families making memories while also coming together for a great cause.
The day wasn’t just about having fun—it was about making a real difference. Just George is a cause close to many hearts, and we were thrilled to be able to contribute towards helping research into rhabdomyosarcoma. Through the amazing generosity of our attendees, we managed to raise a fantastic £1,728!
This incredible achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the support of everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped to spread the word. Your kindness and generosity truly made an impact, and we are beyond grateful.
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Royal British Legion in Fordham for providing such a wonderful venue, and to all the local businesses and individuals who donated prizes, time, and effort to make this day a success.
At Busy Bee Recruitment, we believe in giving back to the community, and this event was a perfect reflection of that mission. Seeing the smiles, laughter, and generosity on display reminded us just how powerful a community coming together can be.
After such a successful event, we’re already looking forward to planning our next charity fundraiser! If you’d like to get involved, support a future event, or suggest a local cause that could benefit, please get in touch—we’d love to hear from you!
Once again, thank you to everyone who made the Family Fun Day so special. Together, we made a difference, and we can’t wait to do it all again soon!
