Busy Bee supports two charities close to our hearts

This year, Busy Bee is proud to support two important charities, that truly mean the world to us.

For 2026, Melanoma UK will be our Charity of the Year, alongside our much-loved legacy Charity Just George. Both charities carry out vital work supporting people affected by cancer and raising awareness of conditions that urgently need greater recognition and funding.

Melanoma UK focuses on education, prevention and support relating to melanoma and other types of skin cancer. Their work helps people recognise the signs early and feel supported throughout diagnosis and treatment. To kick-start our fundraising efforts, Busy Bee has made an initial £100 donation to Melanoma UK and are already planning several charity funds raising events for the year ahead.

Just George is a Special Named Fund at CCLG (The Children & Young People’s Cancer Association) dedicated to raising awareness of rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that develops from skeletal muscle cells, most commonly affecting children and young people. The charity supports families while also contributing to research and improved understanding of this devastating disease. To date, we have raised £15,080 and will continue to raise further funding in 2026.
