On Tuesday, Fausta, our Principal Recruitment Consultant, and Laura, our Senior Recruitment Consultant, attended the East Cambs Careers and Skills Fair at Ely Cathedral. The event aimed to provide employers and young students with an opportunity to explore options available after leaving school, preparing them for the future of work.

Our exhibition stand represented Busy Bee Recruitment and featured engaging and fun games for the children. One popular activity involved spinning a wheel to land on a job role and describing what the role involved. This allowed participants to learn about various career paths. Those who answered correctly were rewarded with a bag of sweets!

Fausta and Laura also shared valuable tips on writing CVs and preparing for future interviews.

“We found the children to be very engaged and excited about their future careers. We had great chats with them and shared advice on applying for apprenticeships,” said Fausta.

The event provided a fantastic opportunity to showcase what recruitment agencies like Busy Bee do.

“I myself really struggled to know what I wanted to do after I left school, so I felt I could truly relate to some of the young people I spoke with,” shared Laura.
