Job Duties:

 

·        Carry out planned preventative maintenance on plant equipment

·        Respond to breakdowns and carry out timely repairs

·        Diagnose faults (mechanical bias however some basic electrical skills are beneficial)and implement effective solutions

·        Ensure all equipment is safe, operational, and production-ready

·        Support continuous improvement of plant performance and efficiency

·        Maintain accurate records (maintenance logs, breakdown reports, parts ordering)

·        Liaise with management regarding workload and priorities

·        Adhere to all health & safety procedures at all times

 

 

What we are looking for:

 

·        Proven experience as a maintenance engineer with a mechanical bias.

·        Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·        Good communication skills

·        Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment

·        Basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office / reporting systems)

·        Flexible approach to working hours, particularly during busy periods

·        18th Edition (desirable, not essential)

·        Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces (if required)
