In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the yard, moving materials, loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining a safe and organised workspace and assisting with general operational duties. Job Duties:

‍

• Loading and unloading deliveries in a safe and efficient manner

• Moving materials throughout the yard and warehouse areas

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch

• Carrying out stock checks and reporting any discrepancies when identified

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

• Supporting the day-to-day running of goods-in and dispatch operations

• Inspecting products to ensure quality standards are consistently met

• Assisting with general warehouse and yard duties as needed

• Ensuring orders are completed accurately and within required timescales

What we are looking for:

‍

• Previous experience within a yard, warehouse or industrial environment would be beneficial

• A Forklift License would be advantageous

• Able to work effectively as part of a busy team

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safe working practices

• Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling orders and stock

• Proactive and able to use initiative when completing daily tasks

• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high work standards
