To be suitable for this vacancy you will have previous experience of leading a team within a glass or glazing warehouse setting. You will be skilled reading technical drawings along with experience of using routers and hand tools. This is a hands-on supervisory role and this should be coupled with your ability to lead a team to meet KPI;s and quality standards.

• Ensuring all KPIs are met
• Distribution of the daily tasks to the team of glaziers
• Quality control of all finished products
• Cutting and installing glass into wood-based doors
• Assisting with overall production and despatch
• Reporting into the Production Supervisor
• Being the first point of contact for glazing-related queries, resolving all production enquires
• Recommend enhancements to training, performance, KPIs and cost reduction,
• Facilitate training within the glazing line team members
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations
NOTE: Initially working on the outskirts of Ely in a village called Pymoor you will need to drive for this position, however within the first 3 months you will relocate to Ely, Lancaster Way which is accessible by public transport.
• Proven experience of leading a team, ideally within a glass Warehouse environment
• Previous experience using routers/hand tools on Joinery products
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and listening skills
• Knowledge of fire certification standards and ability to read CAD drawings is desirable
