Due to continued growth, they arelooking to recruit an experienced Welder to join their manufacturing team basedin Wisbech.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture components accurately.

·        Carrying out MIG and TIG welding on both steel and aluminium.

·        Using a range of hand and power tools including grinders and hand drills.

·        Receiving and working from production work orders issued by the Work Supervisor.

·        Liaising with the Stores team to ensure materials and consumables are available.

·        Supporting quality inspections alongside the Factory Manager and production team.

·        Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard whilst meeting production targets.

·        Following all Health & Safety procedures and wearing the appropriate PPE at all times.

·        Assisting colleagues across the manufacturing department where required.

·        Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Skills & Experience Required:

·        Previous experience in a welding or fabrication role.

·        Competent in both MIG and TIG welding on steel and aluminium.

·        Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

·        Experience using metal fabrication machinery and a variety of hand and power tools.

·        Good understanding of Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment.

·        Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

·        Able to work independently whilst also contributing positively as part of a team.

·        Flexible and proactive approach with excellent organisational skills.

·        Manufacturing or engineering experience would be advantageous.

Qualifications & Experience:

·        Proven experience within a welding or fabrication environment.

·        MIG and TIG welding experience is essential.

·        Engineering or fabrication qualifications are desirable but not essential for candidates with relevant practical experience.
