Busy Bee Recruitment is delighted to be working with a successful multinational company that manufactures, distributes and installs specialist covering systems for the haulage industry. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team based in Wisbech.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving, unloading and checking incoming deliveries.

• Ensuring goods are stored safely and correctly within the warehouse.

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Preparing items for dispatch and ensuring orders meet customer requirements.

• Using warehouse equipment including pallet trucks and forklifts (where trained).

• Carrying out regular stock checks and supporting inventory control processes.

• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring stock levels are managed effectively.

• Working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure customer requirements are met on time and to a high standard.

• Carrying out general warehouse duties and maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience working within a warehouse, logistics or stores environment is desirable.

• Good attention to detail with the ability to work accurately.

• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.

• Strong understanding of manual handling procedures and general health & safety awareness.

• Experience using warehouse systems or stock control processes would be advantageous.

• Counterbalance forklift experience and/or licence would be desirable but is not essential.

• Qualifications & Experience:

• Basic numeracy, literacy and IT skills.

• Previous experience within a warehouse or logistics role.

• Experience working with stock control and inventory processes would be beneficial.
