What you’ll do:

You’ll be getting hands-on in a busy workshop, helping manufacture sheet metal ductwork for ventilation, extraction and air conditioning systems used across a variety of projects. You’ll learn to operate specialist machinery and hand tools, with training provided along the way, while working alongside an experienced team to develop your skills. You’ll also occasionally deliver finished goods to site, giving you the chance to get out and about, and help with other tasks as needed. No two days need to be the same, and you’ll be building practical skills and experience that could set you up for a long-term career in engineering!

What you’ll need:

• A good work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.

• A keen eye for detail and pride in the work you do.

• A willingness to learn new skills and get hands-on with tools and machinery.

• A good level of physical fitness to handle the practical demands of the role.

• A commitment to following health and safety procedures.

• A flexible approach and willingness to help out wherever needed.

• Any previous experience in engineering, manufacturing, sheet metal work or HVAC would be an advantage, but it’s not essential!
