Job Duties:

·        TIGweld stainless steel, mild steel, zintec and aluminium components to a highstandard, using a foot pedal where required.

·        Weldbox section frames and fabricated assemblies while maintaining tight tolerancesand quality standards.

·        Carryout finishing and dressing of own work using a variety of hand tools, includinggrinders and orbital sanders.

·        Ensureall manufactured parts meet engineering drawings, specifications and qualityrequirements.

·        Completefabrication tasks within agreed timescales while maintaining a high standard ofworkmanship.

·        Supportgeneral sheet metal fabrication and finishing activities within the workshop.

·        Assistwith the development of new products, including the fabrication of jigs andfixtures where required.

·        Maintaina safe, clean and organised working environment.

What we are looking for:

·        Proven experience as a TIG Welder/Finisher within amanufacturing or fabrication environment.

·        Experience welding thin gauge materials (typically1mm–3mm) including stainless steel, mild steel, zintec and aluminium.

·        MIG welding experience with the ability andwillingness to develop TIG welding skills will also be considered.

·        Strong experience in fabrication, including weldingframes and assemblies to tight tolerances.

·        Confident using hand tools for finishing work,including grinders and orbital sanders.

·        Ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsand work instructions.

·        Excellent attention to detail with a commitment toproducing high-quality work.

·        Able to work independently and as part of a team.

·        Good communication skills with a reliable andpositive approach to work.

·        Comfortable completing paperwork and followingquality procedures..
