We are recruiting for a Temporary 1st Line Support candidate to join a business based in Waterbeach. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in IT, good communication skills and a problem-solving mindset, looking to gain experience within a support environment.

Initially offered on a one-month temporary basis, there is potential for the role to be extended or become permanent for the right person.

Job Duties:

• Providing first-line IT support to users, responding to technical queries and troubleshooting basic issues.

• Assisting with hardware, software and system-related problems.

• Logging and tracking support requests, ensuring issues are recorded accurately.

• Escalating more complex technical issues to the relevant team where necessary.

• Supporting users with IT systems, applications and general technical queries.

• Maintaining clear communication with colleagues and providing updates on outstanding issues.

What we are looking for:

• An interest in IT and technology, with a willingness to learn.

• Good problem-solving skills and a logical approach to resolving issues.

• Confident communication skills and a helpful, customer-focused attitude.

• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests.

• Basic IT knowledge, with previous IT support experience advantageous but not essential.
