We are working with a leading aerospace manufacturer looking for a Technical Publications Author to join their engineering team. This role sits right at the heart of aircraft interiors - producing the documentation that keeps fleets compliant, safe and operational.

Job Duties:

• Produce Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Service Information Letters (SILs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and installation documentation

• Develop maintenance and crew training manuals aligned to engineering specifications

• Interpret engineering drawings, BOMs and technical data to create accurate documentation

• Ensure all publications comply with OEM and regulatory standards (CAA, EASA, FAA)

• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Configuration teams

• Deliver documentation to strict timelines, supporting On Time Delivery (OTD) targets

What we are looking for:

• Experience producing technical publications in an engineering or aerospace environment

• Strong understanding of aviation standards and documentation structure

• Experience with tools like FrameMaker, IsoDraw or similar

• Knowledge of Simplified Technical English (ASD-STE100)

• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage deadlines
