You’ll work closely with the planning team to coordinate incoming goods from suppliers, while also supporting wider operations to meet production schedules and deadlines.

Job Duties:

‍

• Pick, stage, and supply materials, products, and packaging to support production and warehouse operations.

• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries from the main warehouse and external suppliers.

• Use computer systems (laptop/tablet) to record stock movements, transfers, and cycle counts.

• Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time.

• Follow GMP, food safety, quality standards, and Health & Safety procedures at all times.

• Monitor and maintain onsite inventory levels of materials and packaging.

• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

• Carry out regular stock checks and cycle counts, supporting overall warehouse organisation.

• Occasionally assist with van driving duties or provide support within the wider warehouse team when required.

• Work closely with internal departments including planning, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.

What we are looking for:

‍

• Previous experience as a Materials Handler, Stores Operative, or in a similar role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is desirable.

• Valid and in-date Counterbalance (forklift) license – essential.

• Full UK driving license and over 25 years old (for insurance purposes).

• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

• Punctual, dependable, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance.
