Our client is a growing, family-run furniture rental company specializing in the provision of high-quality, stylish home furniture across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a reliable and energetic Removals Porter / Delivery Operative to join their positive and enthusiastic team. This is a varied, hands-on role combining delivery driving, furniture installation, removals and warehouse duties. It is ideally suited to someone practical, physically fit and customer-focused, who enjoys being active and working as part of a supportive team.

Who are we?

We are a recruitment agency providing both temporary and permanent staffing solutions across a wide range of sectors including Logistics, Industrial, Manufacturing, Engineering, Office Support and Professional Services.

Duties will include:

• Delivering and installing furniture and accessories in residential properties across the UK

• Uninstalling and collecting furniture at the end of rental periods

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently

• Securing items to prevent damage during transport

• Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally

• Carrying out general warehouse housekeeping and maintaining an organised workspace

• Supporting stock handling and inventory management

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety and manual handling procedures

Key skills and attributes required:

• Full UK Driving License (maximum of 3 points)

• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting

• Willingness to start early and travel nationwide

• Well-presented, polite and customer-focused

• Positive attitude with a “muck in” approach

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable with good time management skills
