We're seeking a Quality Technician to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business where quality is at the heart of everything they do. From conducting detailed inspections and First Article Reports to managing calibration schedules and supporting continuous improvement initiatives, you'll play a key role in maintaining the highest standards across the business.

Job Duties:

• Inspect incoming, in-process and finished components to ensure quality standards are met.

• Carry out dimensional inspections, testing and First Article Inspections (FAI).

• Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and material certifications.

• Maintain accurate quality records and ensure full product traceability.

• Manage calibration of inspection equipment and measuring tools.

• Support customer, supplier and third-party audits and inspections.

• Investigate quality issues and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Drive continuous improvement and uphold quality, compliance and 5S standards

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience within a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector or similar manufacturing quality role.

• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems and inspection processes.

• Competent using precision measuring equipment, gauges and Faro Arm technology.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

• Experience with machined or cast components is advantageous.

• Knowledge of quality tools such as 5 Why and 8D methodologies.

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ideally ERP/MRP systems.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
