Job Duties:

As Quality Manager, you will lead the Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety function while working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive a proactive culture of quality, compliance and continuous improvement across the business.

• Leading the Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety function across the site.
• Developing and delivering QEHS objectives, strategies and performance measures.
• Driving the transition from a reactive to a proactive quality culture.
• Managing and continuously improving the ISO 9001 Management System, ensuring ongoing certification readiness.
• Supporting department leaders to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality standards, legislation and health & safety requirements.
• Leading governance, risk management and compliance activities.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and advanced problem-solving across the business.
• Overseeing Quality Engineering and EHS performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Leading the site's Process Improvement Programme, ensuring projects are delivered successfully and embedded into the business.
• Acting as the senior point of escalation for significant quality or safety concerns.
• Building organisational adaptability through coaching, mentoring and training.
• Leading, developing and mentoring the QEHS team.
• Managing relationships with customers, certification bodies, regulators and external consultancy partners.
• Driving a structured, closed-loop approach to resolving non-conformities and preventing recurring issues.
• Supporting the wider business strategy through strong leadership, collaboration and operational excellence.

What we are looking for:

·        A strong background in manufacturing and quality engineering with experience implementing preventative quality tools and techniques.

·        Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 management systems, auditing and compliance.

·        Proven experience leading Quality and Health & Safety initiatives.

·        Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, coach and motivate teams atevery level.

·        Demonstrable experience driving continuous improvement and advanced problem-solvingtechniques.

·        Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

·        A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people and embedding a positive quality culture.
