Working within a clean and controlled manufacturing environment, this Packing Operative position is ideally suited to someone with experience in production, packing or food manufacturing who takes pride in working accurately and following processes.

The role involves packing finished products to the required standards, following SOPs and work instructions, completing relevant checks and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the process. You will be working as part of a small, supportive team where reliability, accuracy and the ability to follow instructions are essential.

The role does involve some manual handling and lifting of up to 20kg, so you will need to be physically fit and comfortable with this aspect of the position. Previous experience within food manufacturing, production or packing would be advantageous, although the right attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

Job Duties:

• Picking of ingredients in accordance with SOP file ready to mix
• Mixing of ingredients to specific recipes
• Setting up of large Mixing machine
• Pouring in the dry and wet ingredients ready to mix
• Cleaning down of machines after mixing
• Preparation of relevant batch paperwork
• Ensure that established standards of GMP, food safety and food quality are met
• Data entry of all production information into internal system

• Following SOPs and work instructions accurately
• Carrying out routine checks to ensure products meet the required standards
• Assisting with general production and cleaning duties as required
• Completing relevant paperwork and production records accurately
• Maintaining high standards of GMP, food safety, hygiene and quality
• Working safely and efficiently as part of a small team
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment
• Carrying out manual handling duties where required, including lifting up to 20kg
• Reporting any issues or concerns to the relevant team member
• Ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and in line with company procedures
