If you have experience working within food production, fresh produce, or manufacturing environments and are comfortable working on a fast-paced production line, then this could be the role for you! We are looking for hands-on Packhouse Line Operatives to ensure production lines operate safely, efficiently, and in line with quality and food safety standards. This role would suit someone with previous experience as a Production Operative, Line Operative, Packing Operative, Food Production Operative, or similar within a fast-paced production or packing environment.

Duties will include:

‍

• Operating on the assigned production line to ensure daily production targets, efficiency, and output levels are achieved

• Carrying out quality, packaging, labelling, and product checks to ensure customer and company standards are maintained

• Feeding products and materials onto the production line and ensuring items are packed correctly and efficiently

• Monitoring machinery and production equipment, identifying any issues, and reporting faults to the Line Leader or maintenance team

• Completing production records and following all relevant company procedures, food safety requirements, and health and safety guidelines

• Supporting product changeovers, line cleaning, stock rotation, and maintaining clean, safe, and organised working areas

Key skills and attributes required:

‍

• Previous experience within a Production Operative, Line Operative, Packing Operative, or food production role

• Experience working within fresh produce, food manufacturing, packing, or production environments

• Good attention to detail with the ability to carry out quality and packaging checks

• Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work efficiently as part of a team

• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work effectively within fast-paced production environments
