We are recruiting on behalf of a well establishedcompany for an Office & Accounts Administrator to join their team.This is a busy and varied position where you will support the day to dayrunning of the office, assisting with administration, accounts and HR. Workingclosely with the management team, you will play an important role in keepingthe business running smoothly and ensuring everything is organised behind thescenes.

Job Duties:

 

·        Managing incoming calls, emails and general enquiries

·        Preparing correspondence, reports and project documentation

·        Maintaining office filing systems and company records

·        Ordering office supplies and supporting day-to-day office operations

·        Raising sales invoices and processing purchase invoices

·        Reconciling bank accounts and supplier statements

·        Assisting with monthly accounts and payroll administration

·        Liaising with suppliers, customers and external accountants

·        Supportingrecruitment, onboarding and employee records

·        Monitoringholidays, sickness and training records

·        Assisting withcompany social media and general business administration

 

What we arelooking for:

 

·        Previous administration experience, ideally withinconstruction, engineering or a similar industry

·        Experience within finance or accountsadministration

·        Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularlyExcel, Word and Outlook

·        Experience using accounting software such as Xero,Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous

·        Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye fordetail

·        Strong communication skills and a professional,friendly approach

·        The ability to prioritise your workload and workindependently

 

 

Due to the location of the business, candidatesmust have their own transport and be able to commute to the office on theoutskirts of Newmarket.
