Job Duties:

‍

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production machinery and equipment.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.

• Fault-find on electrical systems, control circuits, motors, LV systems, and machine controls.

• Install, maintain, and modify electrical systems in line with 17th/18th Edition regulations.

• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and calibration of equipment.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

• Use electrical testing equipment to identify and resolve faults.

• Maintain accurate engineering and maintenance records.

• Order and source parts required for repairs and maintenance activities.

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards and regulations.

• Work independently and as part of the maintenance team to support production operations.

What we are looking for:

‍

• Previous electrical and mechanical maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment.

• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.

• Completed Electrical Apprenticeship.

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

• Working knowledge of IEE Regulations.

• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical drawings.

• Experience with control circuits, motors, and industrial electrical systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on own initiative.

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Computer literate.
