We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Operative to join our client at their production facility in Ely. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, where you’ll be part of a team producing high-quality, precision components used in specialist products. Working as part of the production team, you’ll be involved in operating machinery, supporting the day-to-day manufacturing process, and ensuring consistent quality standards are met. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a structured manufacturing setting. Reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as part of a team are key to success in this role.

Job Duties:

• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets

• Operating machinery and equipment following full training

• Carrying out basic quality checks and recording results accurately

• Updating production records and completing relevant paperwork

• Supporting different areas of the production process as required

• Helping to identify and resolve issues to maintain quality and efficiency

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred

• A hands-on approach and willingness to learn

• Good attention to detail and ability to stay focused

• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal

• A positive attitude and reliable work ethic

• Ability to spot and resolve basic issues during production
