• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on plant equipment
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out timely repairs
• Diagnose faults (electrical & mechanical) and implement effective solutions
• Ensure all equipment is safe, operational, and production-ready
• Support continuous improvement of plant performance and efficiency
• Maintain accurate records (maintenance logs, breakdown reports, parts ordering)
• Liaise with management regarding workload and priorities
• Adhere to all health & safety procedures at all times
• Multi-skilled engineer with both electrical and mechanical experience
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
• Basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office / reporting systems)
• Flexible approach to working hours, particularly during busy periods
• 18th Edition (desirable, not essential)
• Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces (if required)
