We are currently recruiting for a Machinist to join one of our valued clients based in Soham, Cambridgeshire. This role would suit a skilled individual with a strong background in machining who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and is confident working with alone and as a team in a manufacturing or workshop environment.

Job Duties:

‍

• Operating a variety of machinery including CNC, Edge Banders, Panel Saws

• Measure and cut a variety of materials including metal, wood, etc

• Read and interpret technical drawings, cutting lists, and production schedules

• Adjust feeds, speeds, and cutting paths as required

• Assist with assembly duties where required

What we are looking for:

‍

• Proven experience as a Machinist (minimum of 2 years).

• Strong attention to detail.

• Willing to learn how to operate new machinery.

• Team Player

• Good understanding of Health and Safety in a Manufacturing environment
