We’re looking for a Machine Operative to join a fast-growing, market-leading manufacturing business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure smooth, efficient output and consistent product quality.

Working in a busy, fast-paced environment, you’ll carry out machine set-ups, make basic adjustments, and complete routine checks to keep production running to schedule. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area while working closely with the wider team to meet daily targets.

You’ll be joining a supportive and team-focused operation that values reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. For the right candidate, this role offers genuine opportunities to develop technical skills and progress within production, making it ideal for someone keen to build a long-term career in manufacturing.

Job Duties:

• Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently

• Set up machines and adjust settings to maintain product quality

• Inspect products for defects and make adjustments where required

• Carry out routine machine maintenance and cleaning

• Keep the work area organised, clean, and compliant with safety procedures

• Follow production schedules and meet daily targets

• Work collaboratively with the team to support smooth production flow

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience operating machinery in a production or manufacturing environment desirable

• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures

• Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills

• Good organisational skills and methodical working style

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
