As a CNC Turner you will be part of the production team where your primary focus will be to set and operate new and repeat jobs on our CNC lathes.  Main Responsibilities: 

• Setting CNC lathes with driven tooling, following correct company procedures and methods to maintain consistency
• Operating CNC lathes with driven tooling, following correct company procedures and methods to maintain consistency
• Machine components to a very high standard and be responsible for own quality
• Identify best suited tooling and manufacturing methods
• Minimise setup and run times whilst maintaining a high standard of quality
• Adhere to site Health and Safety standards at all times
• Maintain a clean working environment, work in a safe and professional manner at all times
• Contribute to continuous improvement of plant efficiencies and performance.
• Any other general duties as required

Knowledge and Experience: 

• Able to interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Experience with using sliding head machines
• Experience with using sub spindle machines
• Competent in the use of hand held measuring equipment
• Apprenticeship trained or experienced in CNC machining
• Competent use of Fanuc / Haas control
• Experience with using driven tooling machines (C Axis)
