Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a varied role where you can take ownership of a broad range of HR activities?

We are currently recruiting for an HR Coordinator to join a busy and established organisation. This is a hands-on role covering day-to-day HR administration, employee support, recruitment, payroll, training, benefits and wider people initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the HR inbox and responding to employee and manager queries.

Providing HR administration and maintaining accurate employee records.

Supporting managers with HR policies, procedures and employee-related queries.

Assisting with the end-to-end recruitment process and liaising with recruitment agencies.

Managing starters, leavers and internal employee changes, including associated payroll updates.

Monitoring sickness absence and supporting return-to-work processes.

Supporting maternity, paternity and other family leave administration.

Coordinating Occupational Health appointments and management referrals.

Supporting employee inductions and probationary processes.

Preparing payroll information and providing payroll cover when required.

Administering employee benefits, workwear and long-service rewards.

Coordinating internal and external training.

Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.

Assisting with the review and updating of HR policies and procedures.

Maintaining and developing the HR system, acting as an expert user.

Providing HR data and KPI information when required.

Supporting internal and external audits.

Taking minutes and providing administrative support at meetings.

Contributing to HR projects and wider business initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

CIPD Level 3 or equivalent practical HR experience.

Previous experience in a busy HR administration role.

Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies and procedures.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organisation and attention to detail.

The ability to prioritise a varied workload and work to deadlines.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Experience supporting managers and employees with HR queries.

Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, construction or similarly operational environment would be advantageous.
