Are you an organised administrator who enjoys keeping processes running smoothly and has an eye for detail? We're looking for a proactive HR Administrator to join a friendly and growing business in Chatteris.

This is a varied administrative role where you'll support the day-to-day HR function, ensuring employee records are accurate, policies are kept up to date, and staff receive excellent support throughout their employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all information is accurate and confidential.

• Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries, liaising with the payroll team where required.

• Assist with the administration of company policies, ensuring documents remain compliant and up to date.

• Prepare, update and maintain company documentation, including contracts, letters and employee communications.

• Manage holiday administration, including tracking annual leave balances and processing holiday buy and sell requests.

• Support the onboarding of new employees and ensure all required documentation is completed.

• Monitor HR inboxes and respond to general employee queries.

• Provide general administrative support to the wider HR function and assist with ongoing projects as required.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous administration experience is essential.

• HR administration experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

• Able to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.

• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
