Our client is looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join their team, carrying out local deliveries and ensuring goods reach customers safely and on time. You’ll be responsible for vehicle checks, securing loads, completing delivery paperwork and operating the HIAB crane as required, with training available where needed.

Job Duties:

‍

• Complete deliveries across the local area, ensuring goods arrive safely and on time

• Operate a HIAB crane as required (full training can be provided)

• Complete routine vehicle checks and report any defects or concerns

• Ensure loads are correctly checked, secured and ready for transportation

• Follow all relevant driving, road safety and tachograph requirements

• Complete delivery documentation accurately

• Maintain high standards of health and safety, including the correct use of PPE

• Provide a professional and friendly service when dealing with customers

• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and well presented

• Assist with general yard duties and loading requirements when needed

What we are looking for:

‍

• A valid HGV Class 2 licence

• Previous experience in a delivery or driving role is desirable

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Comfortable completing basic delivery documentation

• A reliable, professional approach with a strong focus on safety

• Someone who takes pride in their work and presents themselves well
