We are looking for a detail focused Finance Assistant to join a busy and supportive finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous finance or accounts experience who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, building strong relationships and playing a key role within the finance function. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the sales ledger and credit control processes, ensuring invoices are raised accurately, payments are collected efficiently and customer accounts are maintained to a high standard.

Job Duties:

‍

• Raising and posting invoices and credit notes

• Managing customer accounts and resolving payment queries

• Credit control and aged debt management

• Cash allocation and bank reconciliations

• Supporting month-end processes

• Assisting with payroll journals and reporting

• Working closely with internal departments to resolve queries efficiently

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience working within a finance team

• Good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word

• Excellent communication skills

• A proactive and team focused attitude

• AAT Level 2 or above (or equivalent) would be advantageous
