This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can confidently interpret technical drawings and enjoys producing accurate quotations while working closely with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

‍

• Review customer enquiries and technical specifications.

• Interpret engineering and manufacturing drawings to produce accurate quotations.

• Calculate material, labour and production costs.

• Prepare detailed estimates and quotations within agreed timescales.

• Liaise with customers to clarify project requirements and technical queries.

• Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure quotations are accurate and achievable.

• Maintain quotation records and follow up where appropriate.

• Support continuous improvements within the estimating process.

Ideal Candidate

‍

• Previous experience within an estimating, technical sales, engineering or manufacturing environment.

• Ability to read and understand technical and engineering drawings is essential.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Confident using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.

• Organised, methodical and able to manage multiple quotations simultaneously.
