Our client, based in Newmarket, is seeking a CNC Milling Operator to join their team. This is a great opportunity to become a valued member of a close-knit, family-run business with a team of 16 employees.

The ideal candidate will have experience setting and operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls. While basic editing or adjustment of programs may be required, full programming experience is not essential. Job Duties:

• Operate CNC multi-axis machines using Fanuc controls

• Keep documentation up to date

• Follow health and safety standards

• Carry out own quality control and inspections

• Meet productivity targets

• Pre-planned maintenance of machines

• General machine shop duties

• Wiling to undertake any task asked of you by the business.

What we are looking for:

• Experience of operating Fanuc control systems

• An understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances

• Experience in using inspection equipment

• A good attention to detail

• A good team player

• Willing to work overtime where required by the business.
