Job Duties:

·        Loadprograms, set up and operate CNC milling machines to produceprecision-engineered components.

·        Producefirst-off components for inspection and approval before commencing production.

·        Ensureall components meet engineering drawings and quality standards, recordinginspection results where required.

·        Monitormachine performance to maximise productivity and maintain quality throughoutproduction.

·        Readand interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

·        Carryout routine machine maintenance within your capabilities.

·        Identifyopportunities to improve processes, efficiency and quality.

·        Maintaina safe, clean and organised working environment

What we are looking for:

·        Previous experience setting and operating CNC Millingmachines.

·        Experience using Fanuc controls or similar CNCcontrol systems.

·        Ability to read and interpret complex engineeringdrawings.

·        Experience machining a range of materials,including stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, brass and plastics, isadvantageous.

·        Strong attention to detail and commitment toproducing high-quality work.

·        Good problem-solving skills with the ability towork independently and as part of a team.

·        A proactive approach with a focus on continuousimprovement.
