Duties to Include:

• Set, operate and programme CNC wood machines – Operating 3 and 5 axis CNC machines.
• Manual handling will be involved as you will need to move stock around the factory shop floor.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Select, set up and adjust tooling and work holding fixtures.
• Monitor machine performance and make offsets or programme edits as requiredMaintain high standards of quality and production efficiency

Skills/Experience Required:

• Proven experience operating CNC machines – Using wood-based materials.
• Physically capable of manual handling duties within a factory environment
• Strong understanding of machining principles.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• A positive approach with good communication and teamwork skills
