Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC drilling, tapping and milling machines to manufacture precision engineered components.

• Work within an allocated production team to achieve daily and weekly manufacturing targets.

• Process sheet materials in accordance with production schedules.

• Carry out accurate measurements and inspections, maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

• Record technical measurements and production data using company systems and documentation.

• Communicate production progress and product status accurately with colleagues and Team Leaders.

• Support Team Leaders with continuous improvement initiatives and workplace programmes.

• Participate in cross-training to develop knowledge across the wider manufacturing department.

• Assist with problem-solving activities to improve quality, efficiency and performance.

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment, following all company procedures and health & safety standards.

Critical skills, competency and expectation:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.

• CNC machining experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

• Experience operating Fanuc-controlled CNC machinery would be beneficial.

• A practical, hands-on approach with good mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures.

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

• A proactive approach to problem solving.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet production deadlines.

• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
