Job Duties:

‍

• Supporting and improving the company's ERP system and wider business applications.

• Investigating system issues, troubleshooting problems and liaising with the Systems Manager or external suppliers where required.

• Using SQL to query, analyse and validate data, as well as developing reports and dashboards to support business decisions.

• Identifying data quality issues and helping implement improvements to ensure information remains accurate and reliable.

• Developing scripts, small applications and automated workflows to reduce manual tasks and improve business processes.

• Supporting system integrations, testing updates and helping introduce new functionality.

• Exploring practical ways to use AI and automation to improve efficiency and decision-making.

• Working with colleagues across the business to understand their needs and turn them into effective technical solutions.

• Maintaining system documentation and helping colleagues make the most of approved technology and AI tools.

What we are looking for:

‍

• Strong SQL skills, including experience writing queries using joins, aggregations and subqueries.

• Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C# or C++.

• A genuine interest in ERP systems, data analysis, software development, automation and AI.

• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.

• A proactive attitude and the confidence to investigate problems, suggest improvements and take ownership of tasks.

• A commercial mindset, understanding that technology should solve real business problems and improve the way people work.
