We are working with a specialist engineering business delivering complex installation projects across technically demanding environments including data centres, laboratories and advanced manufacturing facilities.

This is a project led Business Development Manager role focused on winning and developing opportunities with M&E contractors, EPCs and main contractors. You will play a key role in securing and growing high value projects within complex commercial and technical builds.

Job Duties:

• Develop and win installation-led project opportunities across the UK

• Build relationships with M&E contractors, EPCs and main contractors operating in complex environments such as laboratories, semi-conductor plants, scientific sites and data centres

• Engage early in the project lifecycle to influence specifications and secure project wins

• Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle

• Work closely with internal technical teams to develop and deliver project solutions

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience selling into M&E contractors, EPCs or main contractors

• Background in mechanical, HVAC or building services sales

• Experience winning project-based or installation-led work (not just product sales)

• Exposure to complex commercial or technical projects, such as: data centres, laboratories / life sciences facilities or advanced manufacturing or industrial sites

• Comfortable managing longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving consultants, engineers and contractors
