We are partnering with a growing, well backed engineering business with ambitious UK expansion plans, offering a key opportunity for a Business Development Manager to drive new business and long term growth. This is a field based position with nationwide client engagement and access to a main office in St Ives, where you will take ownership of securing and developing major project opportunities across a range of complex and technical sectors.

Job Duties:

• Build and convert a strong pipeline of project opportunities

• Develop relationships with EPCs, Main Contractors and M&E contractors

• Lead opportunities from initial engagement through to close

• Collaborate internally to shape compelling, technical proposals

• Identify cross sell opportunities and maximise account value

• Represent the business at industry events and networking forums

What we are looking for:

• Proven track record in business development or technical sales

• Experience selling into EPCs, Main Contractors or M&E contractors

• Strong network within relevant sectors (semiconductor, high purity, engineering or manufacturing)

• Confident managing complex, multi stakeholder sales cycles

• Commercially sharp with strong negotiation skills

• Able to translate technical solutions into clear client value

• Self sufficient, proactive and comfortable owning the full sales cycle
