This role would suit a skilled individual with a strong background in joinery or carpentry who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and is confident working with hand and power tools in a manufacturing or workshop environment.

Job Duties:

‍

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber and wood-based materials

• Reading and working from technical drawings and specifications

• Using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently

• Ensuring all work meets quality standards and customer specifications

• Carrying out repairs, adjustments, and finishing work where required

• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

• Always adhering to all health and safety regulations

• Working independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines

• Identifying defects and reporting any issues to supervisors

What we are looking for:

‍

• Proven experience as a bench joiner or a similar role within the woodworking industry (minimum of 2 years).

• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

• Excellent knowledge of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools.

• Ability to accurately measure, mark, and cut wood pieces for precise fitting.

• Strong joinery skills and familiarity with various joinery techniques.
