We’re looking for an experienced Assembly Team Leader to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business, where you’ll be at the heart of the operation. You’ll be responsible for leading a team, keeping production on track and ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Job Duties:

‍

• Lead and coordinate daily assembly and production activities

• Manage a team, coaching, mentoring and general day-to-day support.

• Ensure production targets, schedules and customer targets are achieved.

• Support quality investigations, corrective actions and reduction of defects/rework.

• Manage departmental capacity, staffing and overtime requirements.

• Work alongside planning, quality and other internal departments to maintain production flow.

• Develop team capability through effective training, communication and performance management.

What we are looking for:

‍

• 5+ years’ experience within a Lean Manufacturing environment

• Proven team leadership, coaching and people management skills

• Confident communicator with the ability to engage at all levels

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Good organisation and time management skills

• Stock control experience would be advantageous
