Production Planning Manager

Working in a modern facility on the outskirts of Ely you oversee a team of 4 ensuring that the material flow from Production through to shipping is smooth. Experienced in LEAN manufacturing you will be confident to implement and oversee continuous improvement activities.

Daily duties:
- Lead a team of 4 in managing material flow and production scheduling
- Implement new systems such as water spider routes and PFEP
- Conduct audits, root cause analysis, and lead improvement initiatives
- Develop standard work for key processes in Planning, Stores, and Shipping
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and oversee risk assessments
What we are looking for:
- Previous management experience of leading a team within Planning or Supply Chain
- Proficiency with ERP systems
- Flexibility to adjust working hours when needed
- Experience in waste and cost reductions
- LEAN manufacturing background
- Strong communicator
- Detail orientated working style
