Customer Service Executive

Based at our client’s head office this position is to work as part of their inbound customer support team. This role would suit candidates who are used to managing customer accounts and dealing with enquires of high volume within a call centre environment or similar.
The purpose of this role is to support all travelers once their holiday has been booked. This could be prior to their travels with the quality control checking of documentation, you may schedule changes, provide building work updates, make arrangements for bookings with special needs and assist with any problems in resort.
Duties:
- Dealing with customer enquiries relating to their travel and holidays
- Drafting letters and emails
- Answering a busy telephone and dealing with inbound calls
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer complaints
- Provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits
- Follow up to ensure resolution is satisfactory
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
Skills and Experience:
- Previous customer service based role
- Professional and calm telephone manner
- Excellent letter writing and grammatical skills
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Being able to work under your own initiative and as part of a team
- Proactive nature
- Must be competent in using MS Outlook, Word and Excel
- Preferably have a knowledge of the travel industry (not essential)
