Our client, a well-established company based in Newmarket, is looking for a motivated Warehouse Operative to join their busy operation. This varied role will involve picking and packing orders, moving stock, loading and unloading deliveries, and preparing goods for dispatch while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in completing tasks to a high standard. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Job Duties:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Quality checking products to ensure they meet company standards

• Lifting and moving stock, including items weighing up to 25kg

• Using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to process orders and update stock records

• Loading products onto pallets ready for dispatch

• Wrapping and preparing pallets for shipment

• Receiving and unloading deliveries into the warehouse

• Moving stock safely around the warehouse as required

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

What we are looking for:

• Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous

• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is desirable

• A valid FLT licence would be beneficial, but is not essential

• Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 25kg

• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors and maintain quality standards

• Someone who takes pride in their work and completes tasks thoroughly and accurately

• A reliable and hardworking individual with a positive attitude

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads effectively in a busy environment
